ifilm English TV to air new movie ‘The Night Bus’

ifilm’s new movie ‘The Night Bus’ has been scheduled to be aired on Saturday night.

The movie, produced and directed by Kioumars Pourahmad, is an award-winning motion picture about the journey of two young Iranian soldiers and a civilian bus driver transporting Iraqi prisoners during the Iraq-Iran War.

The film depicts deep human emotions, commonalities among nations and at times the hate combatants on both sides of the battle feel.

‘The Night Bus’ won awards such as best film and best script at Iran’s 2007 Cinema House Celebration as well as the special jury award at the 2007 Asia-Pacific Film Festival.

The movie’s cast list includes the late Khosro Shakibaee, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Elnaz Shakerdoust, Mohammad-Reza Foroutan, Amir-Mohammad Zand, Ahmad Kavari, and Kourosh Soleymani.

‘The Night Bus’, made in 2006, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
